Main Event
Report
Green flag, Madden slides Moran into turn one and takes the lead. Moran slides Madden into turn three and retakes the spot.
Madden fights back on the outside in in turn one. He pulls even but Moran clears him.
Lap 5, Pierce works the inside lane against the tire barrier. He pulls even with Madden and clears him off turn four for 2nd.
Lap 6, Ryan Gustin slows, caution.
Green, Pierce drives it deep to the bottom on Moran into turn one. He pulls even but Moran holds the lead with outside momentum off turn two.
Lap 10, Moran leads Pierce by two car lengths. Moran has moved to the bottom lane.
Lap 12, Jason Feger and Ryan Gustin are off track in turn one, caution.
Green, Moran leads Pierce into turn one. Madden, Babb and Heckenast Jr run three wide for third. Madden wins that battle on the cushion.
Lap 18, they form three ide for 3rd once more. Babb and Heckenast fight for space on the inside of the track, they both drove by Madden. Most of the field has moved to the bottom.
Lap 25, Moran closes on the tail of the field. Pierce is closing slightly as they both run the inside lane.
12 to go, Moran is in heavy lap traffic. Pierce is all over his bumper in the race for the lead.
11 to go, Pierce jumps to the cushion. He loses four car lengths.
5 to go, Moran leads Pierce by a car length. Pierce shows him the nose off turn two but he can’t get beyond the left rear quarter panel.
