Race Report
Green flag, Davenport and O’Neal run side by side into turn one. They remain side by side into turn three.
Lap 2, Davenport brushes the wall in turn one! O’Neal drives right by on the inside and holds the lead off turn two.
Lap 10, O’Neal leads Davenport by four car lengths. Those two break away from Clanton in 3rd.
Lap 13, Rick Eckert slows and the caution is out.
Green, O’Neal knocks the cushion in turn one. They run three wide just outside the top 5 behind him.
Lap 15, Ferguson slides Clanton for 4th. Ferguson runs wide and nearly slaps the turn two wall, Clanton retakes the spot.
Lap 20, O’Neal leads Davenport by 1 second.
8 to go, Ferguson slows and the caution is out.
Green, Davenport tries to slide O’Neal into turn one but he can’t clear him. O’Neal opens the gap.
3 to go, Stormy Scott slows and the caution is out for debris.
Green, single file restart. O’Neal, Davenport, Thornton Jr and Clanton run nose to tail on the cushion into turn one.
2 to go, Tim McCreadie slides Kyle Hardy for 5th after starting 16th.
