ARCA race results from the Illinois 100 on the DuQuoin dirt track
Tonight, the ARCA Menards Series goes dirt track racing. The 1-mile dirt oval at the DuQuoin State Fair is set to host the Illinois 100.

Jesse Love was fastest in practice. However, following an issue in qualifying, Love will be starting from the tail of the field.

Illinois 100
Race Report
Green flag, Lewis gets the jump and he’s clear on the inside into turn one. Unzicker holds 2nd.
Lap 3, the track is heavy tonight due to rain yesterday. Lewis runs right through the middle of the track as he opens the gap.
Lap 15, Lewis leads Unzicker by just under 1 second.
Caution, for debris.
Green, Lewis and Unzicker run side by side in turn one. Unzicker hangs with him on the outside but Lewis takes the lead on the inside off turn two. Jesse Love has climbed from the back of the field to 5th.
Lap 22, Love cuts a left rear tire and spins on corner entry! The caution is back out.
Green, Lewis leads into turn one as Unzicker tuckes under his bumper into turn one.
Lp 34, Corey Heim launches over a rut at corner entry. Both front wheels come off the ground but he keeps it rolling.
Lap 36, the first race break caution is out.
Green, Lewis leads Unzicker on the single file restart. Taylor Gray gives the outside lane a try into turn one behind them but he can’t make it stick.
Unzicker bobbles in turn four, he lifts to gather it up and Gibbs looks to the inside. Gibbs has the inside lane back into turn one and he takes 2nd away.
Lap 45, Lewis leads Gibbs by 2.5 seconds.
Halfway
Running Order (Halfway): 1. Lewis; 2. Gibbs; 3. Unzicker; 4. Gray; 5. Love;
Lap 59, Unzicker slides Gibbs in turn one and he retakes the 2nd position.
Lap 60, Will Kimmel is on the pit lane with an overheating issue. Jesse Love is also out of the race due to mechanical issues.
Lap 71, the caution is out for the second race break.
Green, Lewis leads the Unzicker on the single file restart.
15 to go, Lewis leads Unzicker by 2.8 seconds.
10 to go, Taylor Gray runs wide off the corner and tags the outside wall. He keeps it rolling.
1 to go, Taylor Gray spins on his own and the caution is out!!!

Green, Unzicker spins the tires and Lewis leads by five car lengths into turn one. Unzicker runs wide in turn two and he falls to 4th.
