Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 45 (1-45 / 200)
Green, Cindric and Hunter Nemechek run even into turn one. Nemechek drives it deep on the outside but he gets loose. They remain side by side, Nemechek finally completes the pass on the outside lane.
Lap 6, many of the leaders have moved to the outside lane early. Track officials installed resin on the outside lane and they’re using it aready.
Lap 8, Austin Cindric looks to the inside of Hunter Nemechek but he can’t clear him as Nemechek rolls the outside lane.
Lap 20, Cindric is all over the bumper of Nemechek for the lead. Nemechek lifts early into turn three. He diamonds the exit, crosses under him off turn four and cuts the dogleg. Cindric to the lead!
2 to go in stage one, Daniel Hemric is all over Nemechek in the battle for 2nd. Hemric rolls the bottom as Nemechek remains on the outside lane.
At the front, Austin Cindric wins stage 1 at Phoenix Raceway!

Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 45 (46-90 / 200)
Cindric leads the field to the pit lane. Hemric wins the race to the pit exit.
Green flag on stage two, Hemric leads into turn one. Cindric, Gragson and Brandon Jones run three wide for 2nd, Cindric wins that battle.
Lap 60, Jeffrey Earnhardt makes contact with the wall and the caution is out.
Green, Hemric and Allgaier run near even into turn one. But, Allgaier can’t get the power down on the inside of turn two. Nemechek takes 2nd.
Nemechek has a run on Hemric off turn four, he cuts the dogleg and drives it deep to the inside in turn one. He slides Hemric and Nemechek leads off turn two.
Lap 78, Cindric is all over Hemric in the battle for 2nd and the championship. Cindric dives to the inside in turn three. He cuts the dogleg and nearly completes the pass on the inside. Hemric drives it deep on the outside and doesn’t let Cindric slide him. Cindric gets loose, Hemric holds 2nd.
4 to go in stage two, Nemechek struggles, Hemric closes to his bumper. Hemric drives right by on the inside as Nemechek has gotten tight and can’t rotate the corner.

Stage 3 – Report
Laps: 110 (91-200 / 200)
Hemric leads the field to the pit entry and pit exit.
Green flag on stage three, Hemric noses ahead into turn one. Allmendinger makes it three wide through the middle for 2nd. Hemric leads Cindric into turn three.
Lap 99, Joe Graf Jr is turned by Sage Karam and Graf Jr slams the wall, caution.
Green, Hemric and Nemechek run near even into turn one. They remain side by side off turn two. Hemric holds the lead on the outside in turn three.
Lap 107, Matt Mills tags the wall as Sage Karam gets into him and the caution is out.
Green, Hemric and Cindric run near even into turn one. Cindric drives it deep to the inside in turn three, he cuts the dogleg and completes the pass into turn one, Cindric back to the lead!
Lap 125, Stefan Parsons is up in smoke and the caution is out.
Pit stops
Cindric leads the field to the pit lane and the pit exit. Slow stop for Hemric and Gragson.
Green, Allgaier cuts the dogleg and drives it deep into turn one, Allgaier to the lead. Gragson takes them four wide and picks up a ton of spots, he’s back up to 7th after restarting 13th. Jade Buford spins behind them, caution.
Penalty: Justin Allgaier has been handed a restart violation for cutting below the apron before the start finish line.
Green, Cindric leads into turn one with Hemric on his bumper. Gragson takes them three wide for 4th behind them.
50 to go
50 to go, Cindric leads by 1.3 seconds. John Hunter Nemechek works to the outside of Hemric to take 2nd away.
27 to go, AJ Allmendinger is voicing concerns of a vibration.
25 to go, Hemric retakes 2nd. Cindric leads by 1.6 seconds.
20 to go, AJ Allmendinger is heading to the pit lane. Allmendinger spins coming to the pit lane and the caution is out.
Cindric leads the field to the pit lane and the pit exit. Hemric is off 2nd.
Green, Cindric noses ahead into turn one. Hemric and Gragson rub fenders as they fight for space off turn two.
12 to go, Jeb Burton spins, caution.
Green, Cindric and Hemric run side by side into turn one. Cindric has the momentum off the top and he clears Hemric off turn two.
7 to go, Gragson drives it deep into turn three. He slides through the corner and slams the wall.
6 to go, Jade Buford and Josh Williams tangle in turn three. Both cars slam the wall and the caution is back out.
NASCAR Overtime
Green, Cindric and Hemric run side by side through the dogleg. They fight for space off turn two. Hemric gets loose on the inside of Cindric into turn three. He chases it up the track and makes light contact with Cindric!
1 to go, Cindric leads Hemric by a car length.
Hemric dives to the inside in turn one. Cindric clears him off turn two.
Into turn three for the final time, Hemric drives it deep and tags the bumper of Cindric. He forces him off the bottom lane. Hemric gases it up and doors him. They run side by side off turn four!
They rub doors all the way to the finish line! Hemric wins! He takes the win and the championship! That’s the first career win for Daniel Hemric.
