Dirt race at Eldora Speedway set to pay $1,002,022 to win
In 2001, Eldora Speedway gambled on themselves. They offered a $1,000,000 winner’s check for a single race.

Recently, 20 years later, the track was still making payments to race winner Donnie Moran. However, the race paid for itself, multiple times over, making Eldora a national brand in the world of racing.
The Eldora Million returns to the half-mile dirt track in 2022. The race will be held on June 9, 2022, paying $1,002,022 as the highest single payout Eldora history.
The race will run before the 28th running of the $128,000-to-win Dirt Late Model Dream® which is set for Sat., June 11. In total, the week will payout $1.9 million.
Fans who attended the 2021 Dirt Late Model Dream will have the first option to purchase tickets to the Eldora Million. Tickets for all Eldora race will be on sale starting on Saturday, December 18 at 10 a.m.
