This week, we’re seeing more of the same. This time, the No. 38 of Todd Gilliland was found in violation of the same rule, resulting in three more crew member suspensions.

The incident took place during the stage 1 break.

Front Row Motorsports crew chief Seth Barbour and crew members Jourdan Osinskie (jack man) and Tanner Andrews (front changer) have all been suspended for the next four races. Front Row Motorsports has not yet announced if they plan to appeal the penalty.

Ahead of the 2022 season, NASCAR released stricter rules regarding violations with the Next Gen car. The new single lug wheel has a higher chance of falling off if the single lug isn’t tightened in full. To prevent wheels flying off, stricter rules were put in place.
