“Just had some loser go into Hailie’s bag and take her wallet while going through airport security. Lucky we saw who did it and chased him down. I’ll tell you, we are growing up in a stellar generation,” Chase Cabre stated.
“Best part was I spotted him while next to a bunch of TSA employees and said loudly that he just took my wallet,” Deegan confirmed.
She added, “They didn’t give one (poop emoji) so we just started chasing after him. Got the wallet back so we’re good.”
Deegan claimed the 2022 NASCAR Most Popular driver award for the NASCAR Truck Series. She’s claimed that award for the second year in a row.

“Thank you everyone who voted! So thankful for all the support throughout my racing. Got some exciting news that’s gonna be coming out soon for next season,” Deegan said after winning the most-popular driver award.
In 2021 and 2022, Hailie Deegan ran full-time with David Gilliland Racing. Her best finish was at Talladega, finishing 6th.
Rumors are circulating that Deegan will run with ThorSport in 2023. If so, it would require the team to switch back to Ford equipment after running Toyotas.
Deegan has yet to confirm plans for the 2023 season.
