Tonight, it’s the Busch Light Clash in Los Angeles, California. The 1/4-mile temporary oval inside the LA Coliseum hosts the pre-season race for the NASCAR Cup Series.

Aric Almirola, Martin Truex Jr - LA Coliseum - NASCAR Cup Series - Clash

Green flag, they run side by side into turn one and off turn two. A lap later, Almirola completes the pass for the lead via the inside lane.

Lap 8, Hamlin puts a light bumper to Truex Jr. As moves up the track, Hamlin takes over 2nd.

Lap 17, Erik Jones is around with help from Michael McDowell, caution.

Almirola has missed the choose box and now he’s stuck on the outside for the restart.

Green, Almirola runs even with Hamlin into turn one. Hamlin clears him to take over the lead. Christopher Bell gets turned behind them but Joey Logano knocks him again and straightens him back out, no caution.

Lap 23, Almirola falls from the lead to 6th as he struggled to get back to the bottom.

Lap 24, Chase Briscoe gets shoved into the corner and he’s forced into the bumper of Ryan Blaney. Blaney goes around and collects Chase Elliott, caution.

Green, Hamlin clears Busch to hold the lead.

Lap 43

Lap 43, Ty Gibbs leans on Todd Gilliland as shoves him into AJ Allmendinger. Allmendinger is around, caution. Allmendinger lights up the rear bumper of Gilliland, showing frustration under yellow.

Green, Hamlin and Bubba Wallace run side by side into turn one. Hamlin clears Wallace off turn two. Truex Jr shoves Wallace into turn three and Wallace is forced to the bumper of Hamlin. Hamlin runs wide and falls outside the top 10 as he’s stuck on the outside. Bubba Wallace leads Martin Truex Jr.

Lap 73, Denny Hamlin spins with help from Ross Chastain, caution.

Green, Wallace and Austin Dillon rub doors for the lead. A lap later, Wallace finally clears him as Dillon locks up on the outside.

Race Break

Lap 75, the caution is out for the race break. Teams will hit the pit lane with a 6 minute window to make adjustments, the field is frozen during the pit stop.

Green, Wallace runs Dillon wide off turn two, Wallace leads into turn three.

Lap 76, Truex Jr dives inside of Wallace, they rub fenders. Truex Jr and Austin Dillon make more contact. Ty Gibbs gets turned by Denny Hamlin behind him, caution.

Green, Wallace clears truex Jr off turn two.

Lap 78, Kevin Harvick spins with help from Todd Gilliland, caution.

Green, Wallace leads Truex Jr. Ryan Preece and Austin Dillon rubs doors for 3rd, Preece wins the battle.

Lap 81, Christopher Bell turns Michael McDowell and the caution is back out. Ty Gibbs picks up heavy damage and heads to the pit lane.

Green, Bubba Wallace leans on Martin Truex Jr into turn one. Ryan Preece looks to make it three wide for the lead. Kevin Harvick turns Todd Gilliland behind them, caution.

Green, Wallace and Preece run side by side. Ryan Preece clears him on the outside lane and takes the lead away!

Green, Preece clears Bowman and holds the lead. Joey Logano turns Kyle Busch behind them, caution.

Green, Preece and Bowman run side by side. A lap later, Preece clears him on the inside lane.

59 to go, Bowman leans on the bumper of Preece in the battle for the lead but he can’t work under him.

44 to go, Chase Briscoe shoves Tyler Reddick into Justin Haley. Haley is around, caution.

Green, Preece clears Bowman at the front. Truex Jr tags the bumper of Bowman but he can’t take 2nd away.

41 to go, Chase Briscoe spins with help from Noah Gragson, caution.

Green, Preece clears Bowman once more.

37 to go, Ross Chastain shoves Tyler Reddick into Ryan Blaney. Blaney tags the outside wall, caution.

Green, Preece leads as Bowman and Truex Jr run side by side for 2nd. Truex Jr wins the battle.

25 to go, Truex Jr leans on the bumper of Preece for the lead. He works inside and Truex Jr takes the lead away.

20 to go, Ryan Preece is slowing with an electrical issue. He’s dropping fast through the field.
