Kevin Harvick opens his retirement tour with a warning to drivers

Zero Fucks Given for Kevin Harvick in 2023

Kevin Harvick is entering his 23rd and final season in the NASCAR Cup Series. He’s retiring from full-time racing following the 2023 season.

In the Clash at the Coliseum, it appeared that Kevin Harvick had a new driving style behind the wheel of the No. 4 car. And, as he said, he does.

Austin Cindric got into Harvick. In the next turn, Harvick lined up his left rear and spun Cindric out. The same scenario played out with Todd Gilliland later in the race.

Usually, when drivers are wronged on the track, they take mental notes. Those notes could be applied within seconds, next week or even months down the road. But, every driver remembers if they owe one to another competitor.

For Harvick, it’s his last season. He doesn’t have time for notes and he’s not waiting to even the score.

The 47-year-old wouldn’t go so far as to call it a ‘Zero Fucks Given Tour’ but that might be in the ballpark.

“That’s how Dale Jr characterizes it,” Kevin Harvick told Bob Pockrass with a laugh.

“You settle the scores, immediately. We aren’t waiting a week.”

Harvick added, “So, we’re going to make sure that we keep the score even. Because I don’t want to end behind.”
