Brad Keselowski to depart RFK Racing after 2026

The 42-year-old joined the team with a co-owner/driver role back in 2022. He came in and brought sweeping changes throughout the organization.

It worked. After years of struggling, the team quickly returned to victory lane and they’ve now won seven races since he joined the team.

However, RFK wanted Keselowski to step back from his role as a driver and transition into a full-time management position. The two parties could not come to an agreement.

Keselowski is now leaving the team. And, he’s in search of a new ride for the 2027 season.

Now, rumors began to circuilate that Keselowski offered to buy RFK Racing in entirety. Today, Keselowski confirmed that…

“I would say yes there is truth that I made an unsolicited bid to buy RFK Racing. That was denied in the last week,” Keselowski said. “I think it was a pretty solid and significant offer.”

Jack Roush and John W. Henry (Fenway Sports Group) are the other two people of the ownership group.

The amount of the bid was unclear. RFK Racing is the current owner of two NASCAR Cup Series charters. Recent charter values alone are upwards of $40M each.
