Green flag, O’Neal slides Thornton Jr into turn one.
Lap 2, Thornton Jr works to the inside of O’Neal, side by side for the lead. Pierce is right there with them in the three car breakaway.
Lap 9, Pierce splits the middle, three wide and a slider. Pierce clears them all. Moran slows behind them, caution.
Pierce will have to make it happen again as they’ll go back a lap.
Green, O’Neal leads Thornton Jr.
Lap 18, Billy Moyer Sr catches right rear damage and slows, caution. Ricky Thornton Jr heads for the pit lane with a flat tire.
Green, O’Neal leads Pierce and Jason Feger off turn two.
Lap 30, James Walters spins, caution.
Green, O’Neal leads as Marlar pinches Pierce to take 2nd away.
Lap 40, Marlar looks under O’Neal. O’Neal moves lower and takes the lane away.
Lap 60, O’Neal works heavy lap traffic. Marlar and Pierce are all over him for the lead.
Lap 67, Pierce takes 2nd away from Marlar.
Lap 68, Clanton slows and the caution is out.
Green, O’Neal leads as Brandon Sheppard takes 2nd away.
6 to go, Sheppard drives it deep into turn three. He pulls alongside O’Neal but O’Neal holds him off.
3 to go, O’Neal moves to the top to work lap traffic.
2 to go, Pierce throws it hard on the cushion. He throws sparks and pulls even with Sheppard for 2nd.
Hudson O’Neal holds them all off and takes the win at Kokomo Speedway!
