Two features were completed this afternoon after the rain from last night. Now, two more preliminary features are on deck. Results from both days will be used to set the lineups for Saturday’s $50,000 to win finale.
Main Event
Group A Report
Ricky Thornton Jr and Jonathan Davenport set the front row for the Group A feature. 25 laps of dirt track racing are up next…
Green flag, Thornton Jr is clear before turn one. Davenport pulls right to his bumper off turn two.
Lap 5, Thornton Jr has stretched the lead to 1 second.
Lap 15, Thornton Jr is glued to the cushion and driving away. He leads Davenport by 2 seconds.
7 to go, Overton boxes Davenport in behind lap traffic. Overton takes 2nd away.
6 to go, slow car and the caution is out.
Green, Thornton Jr leads as they run side by side for 2nd. Davenport pinches Overton and returns to 2nd.
5 to go, Earl Pearson Jr spins with some help, caution. Pearson Jr climbs from the car and gives a finger to someone as they drive by under yellow.
Green, Thornton Jr leads Jonathan Davenport.
4 to go, Thornton Jr bobbles in turn one. Davenport crosses under him to take the lead.
3 to go, Thornton Jr slides Davenport into turn one. Thornton Jr runs him wide, they rub fenders and Davenport nearly runs over the banking off turn two.
Davenport jumps the cushion and loses a ton of ground.
Ricky Thornton Jr holds them off to win the Group A feature!

Green flag, Wilson slides Moran into turn one. Moran crosses under him.
Wilson slides him once more into turn three. Another crossover, Moran returns to the lead.
Lap 2, spin deep in the pack, caution.
Green, Moran leads as Max Blair takes 2nd.
Lap 3, Michael Norris spins into turn one from 4th. Tim McCreadie makes contact with him and and the caution is out.
Green, Moran leads as Blair and Wilson run side by side for 2nd.
Lap 7, spin in turn two, caution.
Green, Moran, Blair and Tyler Bruening run three wide for the lead into turn one. Moran holds the lead into turn three.
Lap 12, slow car, caution.
Green, Blair looks inside of Moran into turn one. He can’t get the power down on the bottom, Moran leads off turn two.
8 to go, Blair is closing on Moran. Moran is glued to the cushion as Blair rolls right through the middle.
7 to go, Blaire dives inside of Moran in turn one. They remain side by side in turn three. Blair clears him off turn four! Blair to the lead!
3 to go, Wilson slides Moran for 2nd.
