NASCAR qualifying results from Nashville Superspeedway
Tomorrow, the NASCAR Cup Series takes the green flag in Nashville, Tennessee. Today, the field rolls to the Nashville Superspeedway for a round of qualifying to set the Ally 400 starting lineup.

Corey LaJoie got loose and brushed the wall off turn four in round one of qualifying. He slid through the grass and picked up light damage.
The field is split into two groups for the opening round of qualifying. The top 5 from each group advance into round two and all 10 drivers will turn another lap in the battle for the pole position.

Daniel Suarez spun in turn four in his get up to speed lap. He backed it into the fence and picked up big damage in round two of qualifying.
Bubba Wallace was trending toward the pole position on his lap in round 2. However, he spun off turn four and slid through the grass without damage and without the pole.
Ross Chastain will start from the pole position. He turned a lap at 29.797 seconds.
