Laps: 60 (1-60 / 312)

Green flag, Byron leads off turn two. Harvick and Truex Jr run side by side for 2nd. Larson makes it a three wide battle for 2nd. Larson gets loose under Harvick.

Lap 55, Harvick is closing on Byron. The leader works heavy lap traffic.

1 to go in stage one, Byron blocks a run from Harvick.

William Byron holds him off to win stage one at Phoenix Raceway!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 125 (61-185 / 312)

Green flag on stage two, Byron leads Harvick and Chastain. Bell makes a quick move to the inside of Buescher off turn two and he nearly spins it out in the process.

Lap 93, Harvick is working the outside lane. He works to the right rear of Byron and drives by on the outside. Harvick to the lead!

Lap 97, Blaney, Bell and Larson run three wide for 4th. Blaney slides them both to take the spot.

Lap 110

Lap 110, Bell blows a rotor into turn three! He bounces off the outside wall and the caution is out!

Green, Chastain and Harvick run side by side for the lead. Chastain has the momentum off turn two, Chastain to the lead!

Lap 134, Cindric tags the wall and breaks the right rear suspension. He heads to the pit lane under green.

Logano brushes the outside wall, no caution.

Lap 171, Chastain works lap traffic. Chris Buescher has a run. They split the lap car and Buescher completes the pass on the inside, Buescher leads!

Chris Buescher wins stage two at Phoenix Raceway!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 127 (186-312 / 312)

Buescher leads the field to the pit lane. Chastain wins the race to the pit exit.

Green flag on stage three, Chastain leads as Byron and Truex Jr run side by side for 2nd.

Lap 211, Blaney slides Byron for 2nd. This is the battle for the championship.

72 to go, Larson and Byron head for the pit lane under green. They’re the first playoff cars to begin the cycle.

58 to go, Chastain cycles back to the lead. Blaney is all over him for the position.

55 to go, Blaney drives it deep on the apron into turn one. He pulls even with Chastain.

53 to go, Blaney puts the bumper to Chastain. Several laps later, Blaney finally clears him on the inside.

Chastain crosses under Blaney. Chastain takes the lead right back. Blaney gets loose and brushes the outside wall! Blaney falls to 3rd.

38 to go, Kyle Busch is around, caution.

Chastain leads the field to the pit lane. Hamlin wins the race to the pit exit with just two tires.

Hamlin, Larson and Chastain run three wide for the lead! A lap later, Larson slides them both but Chastain works back to the outside of Larson off turn two. Chastain leads Larson into turn three.

21 to go, Larson gets loose as he cuts the dogleg. Blaney works to his outside as they battle for 2nd. Blaney clears him!

10 to go, Chastain leads Blaney by 1.5 seconds. Larson is another second behind.

Ross Chastain wins at Phoenix Raceway! Ryan Blaney is the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion!
