Regarding Earnhardt’s departure, the rumors have been flying…

A popular reddit post sparked a response from Dale Earnhardt Jr. The post made multiple false claims regarding his lack of renewal with NBC.

The post stated that NBC wanted races to be called remotely. It also noted that Earnhardt clashed with personnel in earpieces during the broadcast. It further stated NBC wanted Earnhardt to call the broadcast from the TV screens inside the booth, showing what fans at home see, instead of through the window.
