NASCAR starting positions for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway
NASCAR Cup Series drivers are set to race for 600 miles on Sunday. Now, the field is set to roll to the 1.5-mile of Charlotte Motor Speedway for a round of practice and qualifying.

William Byron spins early in practice. Yet, he was able to keep it out of the wall.
Chris Buescher blows a tire at corner entry. He backs it hard into the wall and a backup car is now likely.
Tyler Reddick will take part in qualifying. However, that team suffered a penalty during inspection and he’ll be starting from the rear of the field.
NASCAR Inspection Issues: Charlotte (May 2024)
The field is split into two groups for the opening round of qualifying. The top 5 from each group advance into the final qualifying round.
Chase Briscoe got tight off turn four on his qualifying lap. He ran out of track and brushed the wall lightly.

Kyle Larson got loose on his qualifying run in round two. He was able to save it and complete the lap but he’ll start 10th.
Ty Gibbs will start from the pole position. He turned a lap at 29.355 seconds.
