Christopher Bell screamed on the radio after losing at Las Vegas

Joey Logano took the win away from Christopher Bell at Las Vegas Motor Speedway; After crossing the line, Bell was as mad as you’ve ever heard him

On Sunday, NASCAR raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was the opening race in the Round of 8 for the NASCAR Playoffs.

In the final stage, Christopher Bell was in a league of his own. He looked to be heading to the win.

With about 40 laps to go in the race, Bell and most of the field elected to pit under green. However, Joey Logano and a handful of others elected to push their luck and stay out, running to the end with much older tires.

Bell flew through the field. And with just 1 lap to go, Bell climbed to 2nd. He was closing quickly on Logano but looked to have fallen 1 lap short.

Joey Logano grabbed the race win on a pit strategy call. He’s now the first driver locked into the championship race at Phoenix.

It’s a wild turn of events for the No. 22 team. They were knocked out of the playoffs at the finish line last week. However, Alex Bowman was issued a DQ is post-race tech. That put the No. 22 back into the playoffs.

Bell screamed on the radio, “You’ve got to be f****** kidding me!”

The crew responded, “Good job buddy.”

They added, “That sucks buddy. That sucks real bad. But, it wasn’t meant to be. We did all we could do.”

“Good car fellas. Great job on pit road.”
