Watch the video as JJ Yeley was a little upset after a crash at Ventura Raceway last night
NASCAR drivers JJ Yeley raced on the 1/5-mile bullring dirt track of Ventura Raceway last night. The track hosted the Turkey Night Grand Prix with USAC Midgets and USCS Sprint Cars.

Yeley raced his way into the sprint car main event after winning one of three LCQ races. But, in the feature race, it all went wrong.
With 5 laps to go, Yeley made contact with young racer David Gasper. Yeley climbed from his mangled machine in a hurry.
He walked down the banking, steering wheel in hand. Yeley pointed at the No. 18 car then tossed his steering wheel with his other hand.
An official went to retrieve the steering wheel and returned it to Yeley. So, Yeley decided to take another shot.
When Gasper made another lap under caution, Yeley was waiting once more, this time on the infield. He tossed his steering wheel for a second time. This time it missed high and wide.
After the checkered flag, Gasper drove to his hauler. Yeley was seen running in that direction with bad intentions.
Just before reaching the No. 18 pit, Yeley was stopped by two people who appeared to be officials.
JJ Yeley comments
“Yesterday, we spun out or I got in a wreck, he hit me head on, wide-open, never lifted,” Yeley told Flo Sports.
“Then, right there, I don’t know what the f— he was thinking. We’re running 5th, there’s 10 laps to go. He just threw a dive-bomb in there and wrecked me.”
“You know, he’s rookie of the year but somebody needs to beat the s— out of him. So, if they don’t stop me, I’ll be the first one to f—— do it.”
David Gasper is the 2024 Rookie of the Year in the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series.
Yeley later added via X, “My apologies to all watching @FloRacing this evening.”
He concluded, “I was a little upset and my language was a little dirty.. but here is the end result for someone else’s stupidity…”
