NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney crashes in critical Round of 8 playoff race
On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series is racing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It’s the opening race in the Round of 8 for the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

With 9 laps to go in the opening stage, Ryan Blaney blew a tire. He slammed the outside wall and picked up heavy damage.
With the race underway, Blaney is currently 8th in the standings. He sits 34 points below the cutline.
Only two races remain in this round of the playoffs. After which, four drivers will be eliminated and the championship 4 drivers will be set for the finale at Phoenix Raceway.

“Nope! No warning,” Ryan Blaney told USA.
“The left front tire blew into three. Unfortunate, going home early.”
“Not the spot you want to be in. Pretty simple, we gotta go win one of the next two weeks. Hopefully we can rebound and do it.”
