Daniel Dye returns this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. It will be his first race since NASCAR as well as his former team, Kaulig Racing issued a suspension in March.
NASCAR driver suspended after comments on INDYCAR driver
The 22-year-old was suspended after making comments about IndyCar driver David Malukas. The comments were made during a live-stream video which can be seen in the link above.
Dye stated, “I want to first apologize to David Malukas. I recently went on a live stream with some friends and made some careless comments.”
At the time, Dye was racing full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series with Kaulig Racing. He was also racing part-time in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series with AM Racing
Just a few weeks later, NASCAR lifted the suspension. However, Dye elected to turn in his resignation from Kaulig Racing.
