Race Report
Green flag, Wood gets the jump and he’s clear before turn one.
Lap 22, the caution is out.
Wood pits from the lead but it’s a slow stop for him. Five cars elect to stay out. Daniel Dye and Jake Bollman take over the front row.
Green, Dye and Bollman run side-by-side for the lead. Gio Ruggiero makes it four wide into turn one behind them on fresh tires. Dye clears Bollman for the lead.
Lap 32, Robbie Kennealy slows, caution.
Green, Ruggiero gets a huge jump on Dye and Ruggiero takes the lead into turn one.
Race break
Lap 52, the race break caution is out.
Green, Dye spins his tires and Ruggiero holds the race lead. Cleetus McFarland makes it three wide on the outside and he moves into the top 10.
26 to go, Ruggiero leads Wood by 1 second.
25 to go, Cleetus McFarland is up in smoke! Andy Jankowiak and Isabella Robousto find the oil on the track and they slam the wall. The caution is out.
Most of the field heads to the pit lane for tires. Boschele stays out.
Green, Boschele spins the tires and Ruggiero returns to the lead. Wood rolls the top but he can’t get to the right rear of Ruggiero.
15 to go, Wood dives inside of Ruggiero into turn three. Ruggiero pinches him down but Wood clears him from the lead off turn four. Daniel Dye follows him through for 2nd.
10 to go, Wood leads Dye by 0.7 seconds.
3 to go, Ruggiero turns Dystany Spurlock into turn one! The caution is out!
Green in Overtime, they run three wide for the lead into turn one. Ruggiero wins the battle off turn two via the inside lane! Jack Wood is turned down the backstretch, caution.
Green in Overtime #2, Ruggiero leads Dye into turn one.
1 to go, Ruggiero throws a block into turn three.
