Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 25 (1-25 / 113)
Green flag, Love is clear into turn one. Patrick Staropoli is around down the back and he bounces off the outside wall. Several cars are collected, the caution is out.
Green, Love is clear with a shove from Mayer.
Lap 6, they form three wide for the lead. Carson Kvapil wins the battle via the outside lane.
Lap 10, Love leads as he blocks runs from multiple lanes behind him. Sam Mayer clears him for the lead.
7 to go in stage one, Mayer forces Love below the yellow line. Love stays in it and drives to the lead.
3 to go, Mayer leads as they run three wide behind him. Love forces his way inside. Kvapil leads the outside lane, they split Mayer and Kvapil powers to the front.
1 to go, Sammy Smith leaves the bumper of Kvapil. They run side-by-side to the line.

Green flag on stage two, Austin Hill shoves Harrison Burton clear of Kvapil. Kvapil fights back on the inside, Kvapil holds the lead.
Lap 33, three wide for the race lead. Several laps later, Hill is clear for the lead.
Lap 38, Hill throws a big block on Sammy Smith. Smith fakes him and dives to the bottom. Allgaier follows him through.
5 to go in stage two, Kvapil leads with Allgaier on his bumper. The field forms single-file around the top lane.
1 to go, Allgaier dives inside of Kvapil into turn three. Allgaier clears him as Kvapil is stuck on the outside lane.

Allgaier leads the field to the pit lane but he’s falls outside the top 10. Taylor Gray and Sammy Smith take over the front row.
Green flag on stage three, Taylor Gray to the lead.
52 to go, Sheldon Creed leads the inside lane and he takes over the lead. Rajah Caruth works inside, Caruth to the lead.
43 to go, Love, Hill and many Chevy drivers head for the pit lane.
42 to go, a group of Toyota drivers head to the pit lane.
40 to go, Caruth leads the biggest group to the pit lane so far.
36 to go, Creed cycles to the race lead.
Penalty: Kvapil and Allgaier have been issued a penalty for a failure to blend after exiting the pit lane.
35 to go, Love clears Creed for the lead.
29 to go, Sammy Smith leads the inside lane. He clears Love for the lead.
25 to go, Love returns to the lead. He’ attempts a block on Ryan Sieg’s throwing big blocks to hold the lead.
15 to go, Love leads with Creed on his bumper. They run single-file around the top lane, for now.
6 to go, Creed dives to the inside into turn three. Love throws a block and Creed moves to the outside. Creed clears Love for the lead.
3 to go, Day works inside of Creed. Mayer looks inside of both of them, three wide for the lead!
1 to go, they remain three wide for the win. Sam Mayer throws a block and he spins. Corey Day leads into turn three.
The caution is out as multiple cars crash in turn four. Corey Day wins at Talladega Superspeedway!
