NASCAR starting positions for Phoenix Raceway

9 cars suffered from inspection infractions ahead of qualifying. All nine will see crew members ejected.
The field was split into two separate groups for practice. Each group had just a brief 20 minute practice. Austin Cindric was quickest overall following practice.
Directly after practice, teams roll to the track for single-car qualifying runs. Ricky Stenhouse Jr has an engine issue, he’s pushed the car to the garage and will miss qualifying.
The top 5 from each qualifying group advanced into the final round. With times reset, the top 10 ran for the pole position.

Joey Logano nearly spun off turn four on his lap in round two.
Ryan Blaney will start from the pole position with a 27.127. Denny Hamlin completes the front row.
