Jenson Button and wife Jessica Michibata Split After a Year of Marriage
Jenson Button and wife Jessica Michibata have split. The conformation came from a representative of the F1 driver.
Jenson Button is now 35. He is the 2009 F1 World Champion but he scored just 19 points in 2015. He currently drives for the struggling McLaren-Honda F1 Team.
During the summer break Jenson Button contemplated a retirement from the F1 World Championship. However, he decided to re-sign with McLaren-Honda for the 2016 racing season.
Jenson Button and Jessica Michibata have dated since 2009. However, the separation comes just a year after getting married. They were married in December 2014.

The representatives of the McLaren-Honda driver have confirmed the split. “Jenson and Jessica have decided to go their separate ways and it is very amicable. There is no one else involved.”
“At the moment it is all amicable,” said the insider after the Mirror revealed the break-up.”
“But the truth is that for months and months they have been living separate lives.”
“Things went downhill about six months into the marriage and they last spent any meaningful time together at the United States Grand Prix in October.”
“Jenson is sad about it but is resigned to the fact the marriage is over and there’s no way back.”
Jenson Button was previously engaged to signer Louise Griffiths. However, they were never married. The marriage to Jessica Michibata was the first and only marriage for Jenson Button.
