Portacool Cooling Stations:

Sonoma Raceway has collaborated with Portacool to provide nine Portacool Cooling Stations throughout the property, including the seating areas at Turns 2, 4, 7 and 9, as well as at the Ticket Pit Stop information booth and main paddock shuttle stop.

Portacool evaporative coolers provide relief from warm temperatures through the natural process of evaporation.

Stand-up Bars:

The raceway his installed nearly 200 feet of Humboldt Redwood stand-up bars under the main grandstand and at the raceway’s newest fan entertainment area, The RevZone at Turn 7. These stand-up bars offer a shaded location under the grandstand or a picturesque view above Turn 7 to enjoy the variety of food options and beverages at the raceway. Fans will also be able to sit at one of 14 new redwood picnic tables under the main grandstand.

Public Address System Upgrade:

Sonoma Raceway has recently undergone a complete refit of its public address (PA) system that will improve audio quality and sound level throughout the facility without spoiling sightlines.

The wine country facility worked with Community Professional Loudspeakers and Pacific Satellite, Inc. to install more than 160 Community loudspeakers, which cover 14 major seating and paddock areas, along with 18 additional public and competitor audio zones.

The RevZone:

The RevZone at Turn 7, Sonoma Raceway’s newest party zone for fans, will feature a 3,100-square foot permanent restroom building, shade tent with picnic tables, refreshments, an array of food options, entertainment and more – all overlooking one of the most exciting corners of the road course. Access to this area is open to all ticket holders.

The RevZone is one of several new environments the raceway has added around the road course where fans can relax and enjoy the on-track action.

The raceway worked with Humboldt Redwood Company to construct two Grill Garden seating and shade areas in 2015.  Located above Turn 2 and Turn 9, these redwood arbors offer a place for fans to relax, cool off and enjoy a bite to eat throughout the weekend.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returns to Sonoma Raceway, June 23-25, for the Toyota/Save Mart 350. The weekend will mark the final NASCAR Cup race in wine country for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., who will retire at the conclusion of the 2017 season.
