Darrell Wallace Jr will run for Richard Petty Motorsports in 2018
He filled in for the team over the summer months. Next year, he heads there full-time.

“I’m just going out there and driving race cars. As I’ve done for the last 15-16 years,” Bubba Wallace tells Dave Moody via Sirius XM Speedway.

“What I see mostly is, ‘What has he done in the Xfinity Series?’ You’re right. That eats at me. Bring up somethin’ new. Trust me, I beat myself up about that every day.”
Bubba Wallace Jr ran 85 starts over 4 years in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He collected 34 top top 10 finishes. His best finish was 2nd, that came at Dover in 2016.
“I want another shot in the Xfinity Series to go out there and win. In those 4 races, there’s a lot of people that don’t wanna agree with it. But, I proved myself to a lot of people in the Cup Series garage.”
“If you wanna harp on me about the Xfinity stats, that’s fine. I’ll throw up the Truck stats to you because that was pretty good.”
Bubba Wallace run 44 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races in 2013, 2014 and 2017. He collected 27 top 10’s and 6 victories.

“I jumped into another manufacture, where it’s not KBM, where everybody says anybody can climb in those trucks and win. I outran KBM, with Kyle in the race. There’s a lot to be said there.”
Bubba Wallace ran one truck race in 2017. He won! The win came with MDM Motorsports at Michigan International Speedway.
Kyle Busch Motorsports has won 8 of 19 NASCAR Truck Series races in 2017.

What do you expect in 2018?
“We’re top 15 right now,” Bubba Wallace states of Richard Petty Motorsports.
“You’re gunna have your races where you blow up, blow a tire. Your gunna have your 30th place finishes. Then, you’re going to have races where there’s a top 5 right in front of you.”
