NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship 4: Elliott Sadler, William Byron, Justin Allgaier and Daniel Hemric
Round 1
10 minutes remain in round 1. Daniel Hemric just hit the track for the first time. He’s the last of the championship 4 to touch the track. Hemric to 6th! All four drivers will likely advance. Allgaier is 13th, the slowest of all 4 so far.
Ty Majeski is at the top of the board. How many iRacing laps did he run to prepare for Homestead? “A lot more than a really want to say.”
Christopher Bell finished 2nd last night and claimed the truck title. He just took the top spot in round 1. He’ll be a full-time Xfinity driver in 2018.

Round 2
Elliott Sadler is the first car on track, he hits the track with a pack of 6 cars. Sadler runs 5th. He might have to go again.
3 minutes remain, Sadler is on the bubble. Allgaier is 15th.
1 minute left, Sadler hits the track for a 2nd run. It’s not good enough.
Championship drivers Daniel Hemric and William Byron will advance to the final round. Sadler and Allgaier have been eliminated.

Round 3
Matt Tifft is the first car on track. Byron to the top! Though, only 3 cars have set a time, we’re 1/2 way through the final session already.
The groove has gradually moved up the track. Several cars had trouble with the wall in cup practice. These drivers have been cautious, for the most part.
1 minutes remains, Preece jumps to the top. Now Custer takes it. Custer was right against the wall in 3-4.
12 seconds remain, Tyler Reddick back to the top!
