2018 Wild West Shootout practice results from January 5, 2017 at Arizona Speedway
Last night, the 2018 dirt late models took to the track for the first time. Practice rounds for the Wild West Shootout.

The event is hosted at Arizona Speedway. The dirt track is located in Mesa Arizona. It’s billed as a very large 1/3 mile high banked dirt oval.
Rocket Chassis drivers dominated the practice times. They claimed all of the top 3.
Brandon Sheppard was fastest overall. Chase Junghans was second quickest. Bobby Pierce, in his new ride, was third quickest.

The Wild West Shootout is a week long event. The first night of racing begins tonight. That’s followed by another event tomorrow night.
Arizona Speedway will have a short break in the miniseries come Monday. Things fire back up on January 10th and run through the 14th.
