The #MotorsportChallenge has been introduced
There’s been a shift in NASCAR in recent years. We now see a lot more personality from the talent. It’s encouraged and it really is a great thing for the sport. A clear example of that is the currently building story below.
Migos, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have a song out titled Motorsport. The song was released on October 2017.
It was released as the first single for Migos new album. The Culture II album is set to be released on January 26th, 2018.
Now, as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series cars are being released. A handful of drivers have taken to social media with their new rides, in music video format.
Austin Dillon was the first to do it. He brought in his 2018 Daytona 500 ride. The MENCS Camaro switch mid beat to a custom Camaro that also happened to be all Gold.
Dillion then issued a challenge to a handful of drivers. “@BubbaWallace, @tydillon and @JimmieJohnson let’s see yours! @Migos understands. . . .,” Dillon posted along with his video.
Yesterday, Bubba Wallace responded by creating a video of his own. Wallace didn’t use one of his Monster Energy race cars. However, he did pull a new Camaro out of Petty’s Garage to use as a prop.
For 2018, Darrell Wallace Jr will drive full-time for Richard Petty Motorsports. The team has made the switch from Ford to Chevrolet for 2018.
Darrell Wallace Jr took liberty of challenging his close friend Ryan Blaney. “Couldn’t let @austindillon3 call me out for the #MotorSportChallenge, and not respond. Hey @Migos, check out those moves…@Blaney, you’re up,” Bubba Wallace posted along with his video.
“Respectfully decline,” Blaney responded via twitter.
