We had a 100% chance of rain tonight. False! We’re going racing and 300 Raceway is the only dirt track in the state of Iowa that will take the green tonight.
Heat 1 – Report
Brian Birkhofer and Hudson O’Neal set the front row for heat one. Green, O’Neal gets the jump, false start.
Green, Birkhofer gets the jump. O’Neal runs the middle in turn one and they split him high and low. Slow car, caution.
Green, Birkhofer leads on the bottom lane of the race track. Tyler Erb mirror his line but Birkhofer maintains the gap.
Brian Birkhofer takes the win in the first heat race of the night!
Heat 2 – Report
Jonathan Davenport and Earl Pearson Jr lead them to the starting line in heat two. Green, Davenport gets the jump as Pearson spins the tires.
The field forms single file around the bottom. Davenport opens the gap in a hurry.

Heat 3 – Report
Kyle Bronson and Jimmy Owens trial the pace truck in the third and final heat race of the night. Green, Bronson gets the jump.
Richards heads for the cushion into turn one. He made up ground on the entry but loses ground off turn two and falls to 3rd.

Main Event – Report
We’re ready for the feature event in Farley, IA. The track has been heavily re-worked ahead of the main. Brian Birkhofer and Jonathan Davenport lead them to starting line.
They line up in a four wide salute for a packed house of Iowa dirt racing fans. The $12,000 to win main event is next…
Green flag, Davenport is clear around the top. He leads Burkhofer and Erb off turn two.
Most of the field runs right along the bottom. Babb is the only one giving the top lane a try, he’s making it work.
Lap 10, the caution is out. Babb heads to the pits with a flat right rear. Chris Simpson is also slow.
Green, Davenport leads. Erb beats Birkhofer to turn one. The field swarms Birkhofer but he holds 3rd.
Lap 13, Josh Richards has found speed against the cushion. He drives to the outside of Birkhofer and Erb. Richards is 2nd and running down the leader quickly.
Lap 17, the caution is out. Don O’Neal is slow in turn three. Birkhofer has a flat right rear as they line up for the restart! He heads to the pits as the caution is extended.
Green, Richards heads to the bottom in turn one. Richards pulls to the number of Davenport. He washes wide off turn two and Tyler Erb reclaims 2nd on the bottom into turn three as Richards falls to 3rd.
Lap 19, the caution is back out as Tyler Bruening is slow.
Green, Davenport leads. Erb defends and holds 2nd as Richards and Chad Simpson pressure him off turn two.
Lap 24, the caution is out as Chad Simpson is slow.
Green, Davenport leads Erb, Richards and Hudson O’Neal. McCreadie is slow with another flat right rear. The caution flag waves again.
Green, Tyler Erb has a look on the outside of Davenport but can’t get the power down off the corner. Babb is flying back through the field, he’s in the top 10 after a pit stop earlier.
Devin Moran has moved to 3rd. He’s chasing down Erb and Davenport. Birkhofer pulls off the track.
Lap 35, car stopped in turn four. The caution is back out.
Green, Moran works to the inside of Erb into turn one. He gets the drive off turn two and takes the 2nd position.
Lap 37, Kyle Bronson is slow with a flat right rear. The caution is out.
Green, Tyler Erb retakes 2nd. Davenport opens the gap. McCreadie is knocking on the door of a top 5 after pitting earlier.
10 to go, Richards moves back to the top. He’s around Moran for 3rd.
5 to go, Davenport leads Erb by four car lengths.
