Tonight, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series unloads in Farley, Iowa. The 3/8-mile track of 300 Raceway is set to host the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Earl Pearson Jr has never missed a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event. He’s absent from the entry list tonight as Pearson lost his father earlier this week. Pearson will receive hardship points.

Rains were in the area in the days prior. We have a very heavy race track for tonight in Iowa. Track officials worked the track smooth just ahead of the feature.

Tim McCreadie and Kyle Bronson set the front row. 50 laps of dirt late model racing are up next…

Farley
Feature – Report

Green flag, McCreadie and Bronson run side by side into turn one. McCreadie noses ahead at corner entry but Bronson builds momentum around the top. Bronson clears him on the outside off turn two!

Lap 3, Stormy Scott slows off turn four with a flat tire and the caution is out.

Green, Branson leads into turn one. Richards looks inside of McCreadie for 2nd and he completes the pass in turn three.

Lap 4, McCreadie has a flat tire back in turn one! The points leader is in trouble. McCreadie locks them up and slides softly into the turn one wall. The caution is out and McCreadie heads for the pit lane with a flat tire and right front damage.

Green, Bronson leads. Mike Marlar takes 2nd away from Richards into turn one.

Charlie McKenna is in the wall in turn one! The red flag is out but the driver is ok.

No lap was turned. That’s a break for McCreadie as his crew continues to make repairs on the right front.

Green, Bronson leads as Marlar clears Richards for 2nd once again.

McCreadie is back on the track. He did not lose a lap but the right front is still bent up.

Lap 7, Davenport and Owens bang doors off turn four for 5th.

Lap 10, Bronson has caught the tail of the field. He leads Marlar by 1 second.

Lap 12, Shane Clanton is slow and the caution is out.

Green, Bronson leads. Richards pinches down on Marlar at the launch and takes 2nd back away.

Lap 15

Lap 15, Alberson is slow and the caution is out.

Green, Bronson leads. Marlar returns to 2nd. Owens and Richards run side by side for 3rd. Richards holds that spot on the outside in turn three.

Lap 18, Shane Clanton is slow in turn one, caution.

Green, Bronson leads but Marlar has a look on the inside in turn one.

Trouble behind them! The nose of Richards has curled under the machine after bouncing through the ruts. The caution is back out as Richards heads for the pits.

Green, Bronson leads as Marlar looks inside once again but can’t take the lead away.

Tyler Erb knocks the cushion in turn one and clears Owens for 4th.

Lap 21, Jimmy Owens has lost the entire nose as he knocked a rut in turn one! The nose piece is gone and the caution is out. Owens to the pits as the crew goes to work to remove the nose.

Davenport also heads for the pit area.

Green, Bronson leads into turn one. Hudson O’Neal clears Marlar for 2nd.

The nose is gone but Owens has rolled over his own fender and he’s stuck on the front stretch, caution. Owens heads back to the pits and now the crew has removed the nose and fenders.

Green, Bronson leads as Marlar has a look on the inside. Bronson is able to roll right through the ruts with minimal bouncing.

Lap 33

Lap 33, Ricky Thornton Jr slows and the caution is out.

Pierce heads for the pit after.

Green, Bronson leads.

Lap 38, Marlar closes on Bronson in the battle for the lead. Marlar is working the bottom in turn one as Bronson is working the top.

Lap 45, Bronson opens the gap back up to 2 seconds.

Lap 48, Hudson O’Neal is slow and the caution is out.

Kyle Bronson has a flat tire! He heads to the pit area from the race lead.

Green, Marlar leads. Pierce and Erb run side by side for 2nd. Erb wins that battle on the outside.
