Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series results from 34 Raceway
Tonight, the national dirt late model tour lands in Burlington, Iowa. The 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval of 34 Raceway hosts the LOLOMDS.

Heat 1 – Report
Jonathan Davenport and Billy Moyer Jr trail the pace truck in the first heat race of the night. Green, Davenport is clear around the top.
Erb and Jameson battle for the final transfer spot. Erb takes that position.
Davenport cruises to the end in the first heat race of the night!
Heat 2 – Report
Devin Moran and Earl Pearson Jr set the front row in heat two. Green, Moran leads into turn one. It’s a false start.
Green, this time Pearson gets the jump. He clears them all into turn one. Richards follows him through to take 2nd.
Lap 5, Richards is all over Pearson on entry to both corners.
Final lap, Pearson bobbles in turn three and Richards looks to the inside. Richards has to lift to avoid contact and Pearson wins heat two!
Heat 3 – Report
Tim McCreadie and Tyler Bruening lead them to the starting line in heat three. Green, McCreadie leads into turn 1.
McCreadie hits a rut and jumps the cushion in turn three! Browning drive under him takes the lead off turn four.
McCreadie had left front fender damage from a rut. The wheel is also locked up.
Tyler Bruening takes the win in hear three.
Heat 4 – Report
Hudson O’Neal and Billy Moyer head to the flag stand in heat four. Green, Hudson O’Neal gets the jump but he spins the tires down the front stretch.
Billy Moyer is even at the flag stand. Moyer leads into turn one.
Lap 7, Mike Fryer is around in turn three. The caution is out.
Green, Moyer opens the gap to three car lengths in a hurry. Babb is looking to take 2nd from O’Neal.
Moyer maintains the gap to win the final heat race of the night!
Main Event – Report
Jonathan Davenport and Tyler Buening set the front row at 34 Raceway. Jason Jameson has unloaded the backup and will start at the tail.
$10,000 is up for grabs tonight at 34 Raceway. They line up in a four wide salute for the Iowa dirt track racing crowd. The 50 lap main event is next…
Green flag, Davenport leads into turn one. Pearson can’t hold it on the bottom, he’s off the throttle and back a position.
Trouble for McCreadie! He’s get a flat left front. The nose digs into the banking in turn one of lap 2 and the caution is out.
Green, Billy Moyer moves to 2nd. Billy Moyer Jr jumps the cushion and drops a few spots. Davenport opens the gap.
Lap 8, the caution is out.
Green, Don O’Neal has a look on the bottom of Moyer for 2nd. They avoid contact and Moyer holds the position.
Lap 17, the leaders are deep in lap traffic. Don O’Neal takes over 2nd. Lap 20, Davenport is held up by several lap cars. Don O’Neal looks to the inside but can’t complete the pass.
Lap 21, up front they are clear of the lap cars. Davenport opens the gap back up.
Lap 23, the caution is out.
Green, Richards takes 2nd from O’Neal. Several cars stack up behind them and the caution is back out. Pierce and Moran are a few involved.
Ruts have formed all the way around the race track. Lightning clouds stick in the distance. More rain is on the way.
Green, O’Neal has a run on Richards off turn two. He’s clear on the bottom into turn three. Pearson is slow behind them and the caution is back out.
Green, the field bounces through the ruts as they jump on the throttle. Davenport leads. Tyler Erb is working the high side but that lane closes and he drops to the bottom. Hudson O’Neal takes 3rd.
Lap 27, the caution is out for a spin in turn two.
Green, Hudson O’Neal slides Davenport in turn one. He’s clear but Davenport is on the throttle hard around the top. They come off turn two door to door and Davenport leads into turn three.
Lap 28, caution. Only 13 cars remain of the 24 that started.
Green, Don O’Neal slides Davenport into turn one. Davenport crosses under him on exit and he retake’s the lead into turn three.
Nearly all drives are smacking a rut in turn three. The motor is on the chip as the car lifts completely off the ground.
Lap 37, the yellow is out as Bruening is slow.
Green, Tyler Erb smacks a rut into turn one. The car nearly rolls over. He spins as it lands back on four wheels, caution.
Green, Davenport leads. Lap 39, Hudson O’Neal is on the bumper of the leader into turn one. The #71 bicycles it on the bottom and he saves it.
Lap 43, O’Neal moves to the bottom and slides he for the spot. Davenport crosses him and retakes the lead.
Lap 44, same thing. O’Neal slides him on the bottom into turn three. Davenport smacks a rut, the car bicycles and he’s back in the gas as it lands. Davenport crosses him and retake’s the lead off turn four.
The continue to swap the race lead. Three to go! O’Neal slides him in turn one. Davenport gets into the back off him off turn two and Neal is around! Hudson O’Neal takes the lead!
The caution is out as Don O’Neal goes off on the hook. Davenport will go back to the lead as the lap was not completed. O’Neal is back out after a trip to the pit area.
Green, Davenport blocks the bottom into turn one. Hudson O’Neal gets the drive off turn two and looks to the inside in turn three.
They’re door to door off turn four. Davenport kicks sideways and O’Neal gets a straighter drive on the bottom. Hudson O’Neal leads into turn one.
Final lap, Davenport gives it one more shot on the bottom. The car launches through a rut as as O’Neal is on the gas and driving away off turn four.
Hudson O’Neal takes the win at 34 Raceway!
