Cleetus McFarland is a YouTube superstar that recently started his NASCAR journey. He’s run races in the NASCAR Truck Series, O’Reilly Series and just recently ran his first Super Late Model race.
This week, he went to dinner with NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. Epic Chophouse is a local favorite in the center of NASCAR land of Mooresville.
Dale Jr claimed McFarland and his entire crew were, “several levels under-dressed.”

“Cleetus McFarland texts me, ‘Hey man, I’m coming into town Tuesday. Lets get dinner. I like eating at Epic,” Dale Earnhardt Jr stated via the Bless Your Hardt podcast.
“I said, “Im’ll just throw on a collared shirt.” Beep boppin’ down there in our collared shorts. So, we’re standing there and getting ready to walk inside and he comes Cleetus and his crew.”
“Rolling up in a (expletive) t-shirt! And a pair of khaki shorts with their tennis shoes on.”
“We walk in there and they put us front and center. Cleetus was like several levels under-dressed. They had like racing shirts on. Shirts with fire, racecars and stuff on them.”
“Man, they don’t give a (expletive). He just is down to Earth as they come.”

“This guy cannot be serious with me right now. I am astonished,” Cleetus McFarland reacted to the comments above.
“We were dressed practically the nicest we have been all week. We had sleeves on and we looked good. And we weren’t even dirty. And it’s Epic Chophouse, I mean you wear a racecar shirt to this place.”
“I don’t know what this guy Dale is talking about.”
McFarland concluded, “Mark my words Dale, I will never come under-dressed to dinner with you ever again!”
