He’s expected to make his debut in the CARS Tour
Cleetus McFarland has branched out from YouTube to the world of auto racing. He has several deals, piloting cars up and down the NASCAR ladder.
Now, he’s heading to the CARS Tour. McFarland is currently building a Pro Late Model.
“I’m building a Pro Late Model,” Cleetus McFarland told Frontstretch. “It will be done in hopefully a few weeks.”
He added, “Then, I got to get my feet wet in that world a little bit. I’m hoping to go up there and run with those guys. What could go wrong?”

Earlier this year, McFarland made his NASCAR Truck Series debut at Daytona International Speedway. He later made his NASCAR O’Reilly Series debut with an eventful run at Rockingham Speedway.
McFarland had a deal signed with Richard Childress Racing to race the O’Reilly Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. However, that request was denied noting that officials needed to see more of him before being approved.

However, he has been approved to race the NASCAR O’Reilly Series race at Nashville Speedway. That event is schedule for May 30th.
As of now, McFarland has seven ARCA Menards Series starts on his resume. His most recent start at Talladega Superspeedway resulted in a 2nd place finish.
That No. 30 ARCA entry is fielded by Rette Jones Racing. That team also runs a late model program.
