NASCAR driver Sam Mayer wasn’t happy after the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway
On Sunday night, the NASCAR Xfinity Series raced at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The race was originally scheduled for Saturday but weather pushed it to a late Sunday start.
Sam Mayer entered the race with a throwback to Dale Earnhardt. His No. 41 car was dressed in pink for the event and he was racing toward the front in the first two stages but things took a turn.
The 200 lap race saw 7 cautions and 38 yellow flag laps of the 200 laps scheduled.
After the race, Mayer climbed from his car and beat on the roof. He was frustrated with how his night went.

Sam Mayer isn’t happy with crashers in the O’Reilly Series
“Everyone in this series sucks,” Sam Mayer told Frontstrech.
“There’s nobody worth anything past 10th place. It’s atrocious. I hate it. It’s annoying.”
“Everyone just crashed at the end of these races. We can’t go another 10 laps without hitting each other. At the end of these races, everyone just loses their minds.”
While he’s not happy with the competition, Mayer is going to be in this series for awhile. He recently signed a deal to return to JR Motorsports starting in 2027.
