There’s a slight delay in getting this session going. The K&N race ahead of this session has left something on the race track.

Martin Truex Jr was quickest in practice one earlier today. He’ll be required to serve a 15 minute practice penalty at the end of this session due to inspection violations on the previous week.

Final Practice – Report

Duration: 80 minutes

Kyle Busch has cooked turn four early in this session. He rolls through the old layout of the track and re-enters the track in turn 7. That’s something we’ll see multiple times during the race.

NASCAR wants drivers to stop and turn around. Officials want Busch to re-enter the track in turn four.

“What am I suppose to do? Turn around?,” Kyle Busch asks as he’s told not to use the cut through.

Cody Ware does the same thing, he jumps to the top of the board by 2 seconds as a result. That lap will not count.

NASCAR has solved the problem. They have parked a safety track at the shortcut to prevent cars from rolling through after missing the entrance to the Carousel.

Kyle Busch re-enters the track after making changing the garage area. However, it’s the same result as Busch cooks turn four once again.

Kyle Busch is around into turn one. He runs it backwards up the hill and across turn two. Busch has had a lot of excitement in this session.
