The field lines up in a four wide salute for the Georgia dirt track racing fans. 50 laps of dirt late model racing is up next…

Green flag, Owens noses ahead on the bottom into turn one. Page fights back on the top off turn two. Page leads them back at the line.

Lap 10, Page and Owens run the bottom. Page leads by two car lengths.

Behind them, Madden and Davenport run the middle.

Lap 20, the track has rutted up good in turn one. Several drivers are being thrown sideways as they roll through them. They are only in the middle of the track for now.

Lap 25, Overton works under Davenport to take over 4th. He runs to the bumper of Madden for 3rd.

Lap 40, Overton finally works by Madden for 3rd. Owens sits just ahead. Overton is the only one moving forward in the top five.

At the front, Michael Page has opened the gap. He’s able to work lap traffic and drive away.
