Tonight, two rounds of heat races will set the starting lineups for tomorrow. Passing points are in effect. Tomorrow, the series will return to run consi’s and the main event, completing the two-day show.
Last night, I-80 Speedway hosted the $12,000 to win Go 50 event. Jimmy Owens drove to victory lane. However, that race is run independent of the two-day Silver Dollar Nationals which starts tonight.
There’s no qualifying session to set the lineups. Each round is an invert. Total points from both heats will set lineups for Saturday with only a a few handfuls transferring directly into the A-Main.
