It’s the first and final day of the week long dirt late model show at I-80 Speedway. The 4/10-mile in Greenwood, NE is set to conclude the week with a $53,000 payday to the feature winner.

Green flag, side by side into turn one. Junghans leads off turn two.

Lap 7, Shirley slides Bronson for 3rd in turn three. Bronson crosses under him off turn four and retakes the spot.

Lap 10, Bronson drives right by Scott via the outside lane to take 2nd.

Lap 14, Bronson pulls the trigger and slides Junghans for the lead in turn three. He pulls even but can’t clear him. Branson loses 5 car lengths off turn four and he’s forced to give him the lane.

Lap 18, Bronson is back on the bumper of Junghans in the battle for the lead. Branson looks to the middle in turn three. Junghans drives it deep to the bottom, catches the cushion on the exit and defends off turn four.

Lap 22, caution as Davenport pulls to the pit area.

Green, Junghans leads by two car lengths out of turn two.

Bronson moves right to the cushion. He’s building momentum and closing the gap.

Lap 30, Bronson to the inside in turn three. He can’t clear him, Junghans holds the spot.

Lap 32, caution as Shane Clanton slows.

Green, Junghans leads off turn two.

Junghans has a short run car. He opens a gap after restarts then backs up to the field after several laps.

Lap 46, Bronson is closing on Junghans once again. McCreadie closes on both of them.

Lap 47, Bronson clears Junghans off turn two. Junghans fights back in turn three but can’t retake the spot.

Lap 50, Bronson struggles with lap traffic. Junghans closes to within a car length.

20 to go

20 to go, Bronson leads Junghans by 10 car lengths.

14 to go, McCreadie looks inside of Junghans in turn one and clears him for 2nd off turn two.

10 to go, Bronson leads by 20 car lengths but runs in a feisty group of lap cars.

3 to go, Bronson has a light trail of blue smoke but he’s still under power.

2 to go, the smoke intensifies for Bronson.
