Night three at I-80 Speedway saw dirt late model drivers battle for $30,000

Tonight, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series unloads for the third day in Greenwood, NE. Thursday’s portion of the program is the I-80 Nationals, paying $30,000 to win.

Green flag, Tyler Erb gets the jump and he’s clear into turn one. Spencer Hughes and Weiss battle for 2nd, Hughes takes the spot.

Lap 2, Weiss jumps the cushion in turn three and falls to 5th.

Lap 5, Erb leads Hughes by five car lengths. They are both glued to the inside in turns three and four. Behind them, they’re racing all over the track.

Lap 15, Erb works heavy lap traffic. He takes them three wide and drives right by.

Lap 20, Erb opens the gap as he’s better in traffic. Hudson O’Neal is closing on Hughes in the battle for 2nd.
