Tonight, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series unloads in Greenwood, Nebraska. The 4/10-mile dirt track of I-80 Speedway is set to host the famed Silver Dollar Nationals.

This race was originally scheduled for Saturday night. However, due to weather, the action was pushed back to Sunday.

Main Event
Report

Green flag, Ricky Thornton Jr comes from row two to make it three wide for the lead into turn one. Tim McCreadie holds them off on the outside lane.

Lap 10, Bobby Pierce slides Earl Pearson Jr for 4th. Pierce moves back to the cushion, sparks fry off the wall as he’s the car on the move early in this race.

Lap 13, Pierce has a run on Marlar off turn four. Marlar shuts the door and Pierce nearly puts the nose to his fuel cell but Pierce lifts.

Lap 16, Marlar looks inside of Thornton Jr for 2nd. As he loses momentum, Pierce works to his outside. Pierce isn’t done as he takes 2nd away from Thornton Jr.

Lap 18, McCreadie works heavy lap traffic. Pierce is closing fast.

Lap 40, McCreadie has opened the gap to 4 seconds. Pierce holds 2nd.

Lap 46, Pierce bounces three times off the wall through turns one and two. Marlar works the inside and takes 2nd away.

Lap 48, the first caution is out as Jesse Sobbing and Kyle Strickler slow.

Green, McCreadie leads Marlar off turn two. Earl Pearson Jr, Bobby Pierce and Jonathan Davenport run three wide for 3rd, Pearson Jr takes that spot via the inside lane.

Lap 58, the caution is out as Tyler Erb slows.

Green, McCreadie leads Marlar off turn two.

Lap 60, caution as Garrett Alberson comes to a stop.

Green, McCreadie leads as Marlar and Davenport run side by side for 2nd. Davenport takes 2nd away.

10 to go, McCreadie has caught the tail of the field. Davenport is closing.

7 to go, Davenport heads for the cushion as lap traffic runs side by side ahead of the leader. Davenport pulls even with McCreadie and he clears him. Davenport to the lead!
