Jonathan Davenport won Saturday’s program. If he can will all features for the week, he will be handed a bonus check for $250,000. If he can win five of six, he’ll be handed a bonus check of $100,000.
Track officials dropped some water on the track just ahead of the main event. The field is looking at a new track ahead of the main event.
Following a draw between tonight’s heat race winners, Jason Feger and Jason Papich set the front row. 40 laps of dirt late model racing are up next…

Green flag, Feger noses ahead on the bottom into turn one.
Brian Shirley looks inside of him as they nearly run three wide for the lead. Shirley takes the lead on the bottom.
Lap 2, Davenport doors Papich for 3rd. He’s climbing to the front in a hurry after starting 6th.
Lap 5, Davenport looks inside of Feger for 2nd. They run even off the corner and Davenport wins the battle on the inside into the next corner.
Lap 6, Jake Timm is slow and the caution is out. Pierce heads for the pits.
Green, Shirley leads on the bottom as Davenport hits the cushion. Davenport has momentum on the outside in turn three. He pulls even, Shirley leaves the lane open and Davenport takes the lead.
Lap 11, Trevor Gundaker has a flat and the caution is out. Pierce and Alberson call it a night early as they climb from their cars with issues.
Green, Davenport leads as Shirley and Thornton Jr fight for 2nd. Thornton Jr wins that battle on the outside lane.
Lap 20, Davenport is knocking the cushion all the way around the track but he’s caught the tail of the field. Davenport brushes the wall into turn three, sparks fly and Thornton Jr closes.
Lap 22, Thornton Jr is on the bumper of Davenport for the lead!
Davenport remains on the top but lap traffic runs the same lane. Ricky Thornton Jr dives to his inside. Davenport pinches him off the corner but Thornton Jr takes the lead.
Lap 30, Thornton Jr leads Davenport by nearly 3 seconds.
Lap 31, caution! Rusty Schlenk has a flat left rear.
Green, Thornton Jr leads on the cushion into turn one.
Lap 32, Marlar slides Shirley for 3rd.
5 to go, Thornton Jr and Davenport run near identical lines. Thornton Jr leads by 6 car lengths.
