Natalie Decker is going NASCAR Xfinity Series racing in 2021

Natalie Decker will make her NASCAR Xfinity Series debut with a new sponsor and team on the Daytona Road Course

About a week ago, Natalie Decker showed fans images of her appearing to sign a NASCAR contract. Friday’s announcement confirmed that.

Decker will drive the No. 23 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. During the off-season, the team made the switch to Ford.

The team will use (Ryan Sieg Racing) RSS Racing machines. The fleet of cars will be managed by Reaume Brothers Racing.

“The Xfinity series is quite healthy, and we are privileged to be a part of the series once again this season,” Josh Reaume stated.

“With no single full-time driver, we will have plenty of opportunities to help develop drivers coming through the NASCAR Ranks. Being a steppingstone for a driver and their career is something that I take a lot of pride in. We’re excited to work with familiar faces and new faces this year in 2021!”

“As a team, we have been able to help a lot of drivers make their debut into the NASCAR trucks Series, and now we have the ability to do that with the NASCAR Xfinity Series.”

“Having Natalie make her Xfinity debut at the Daytona Road Course is another exciting step for this team and the direction we are heading.”

Reaume added, “We had some strong runs with Myatt Snider at the road courses last year and we are confident Natalie will do a great job at the Daytona road course to kick off the 2021 season.”

The car will be driven by Jason White during the first race on the Daytona oval. The following week, Decker will climb into the No. 23 on the Daytona Road Course.

Decker will run five races at the beginning of the season.

Red Street Records has signed on a partner for the 2021 season. The company is owned by Rascal Flatts’ member Jay DeMarcus.

Decker talked her journey, “I come from a snowmobile racing family. But, I wasn’t too into Snowmobiles. For my ninth birthday, my dad got me a go-kart.

“We slowly climbed the racing ladder. It’s crazy to say, we are here, we are racing in NASCAR now at the 2nd highest level.”

Decker has run three season at the NASCAR Truck Series level. The 32 races combined were run in 2016, 2019 and 2020 seasons. Decker finished 5th in the opening race at Daytona in 2020.

“First, I have to say thank you, thank you to all my fans that support me and show me so much love. I love you all,” Decker comments via a social media note.

“Thank you to Todd Dibenadetto for connecting Natalie Decker LLC and Red Street Records. Thank you to Red Street Records for believing in me and wanting to be part of this journey with me.”

She added, “Thank you to RSS and RBR for the warm welcome into the team. Thank you to Bigfoot Philly Cheesesteaks Beef Jerky for supporting my career and I’m excited for our new partnership.”

“Our first race is the Daytona Road Course and I couldn’t be any happier, we have Jason Crabb and his new single on the hood of the car. This song is so meaningful to me and the inspiration I get from Jason when I hear this song is unbelievable!”

“She concluded, “I’m excited for this journey and I’m so happy I finally get to share it with all of you!”

Red Street Records comments

On the Daytona Road Course, the No. 23 machine will feature 2-time Grammy winner Jason Crabb.

“Natalie Decker proves that with God-given talent and determination, you can achieve your dreams,” said Jason Crabb. “To be included in Red Street Records’ sponsorship of Natalie and her team during the NASCAR Xfinity Series is just awesome – start your engines!”

“It was a surprise today, because I had no idea that I was going to be on the car,” Crabb detailed.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Team Decker,” said Jay DeMarcus, owner of Red Street Records.

“Natalie is on the cutting edge of the racing industry; her meteoric rise continues to be amazing and unprecedented! She is the next generation.”

“We here at Red Street view our journey in much the same way: innovation, and “outside the box” thinking, have set us apart, in the same way that Natalie has been set apart as one of NASCAR’s youngest female drivers in history. That makes Team Decker and Red Street Records the perfect combination!”

“I echo what Jay has expressed: we are beyond excited to work with Natalie and Team Decker,” said Mark Lusk President/General Manager of Red Street Records. “Her heart, drive and passion resonate so strongly with our team and we fully expect this to be a winning combination! LET’S RACE!”
