Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 10 (1-10 / 45)
Green flag, Gibbs gets the jump and he throws a block on Allmendinger into turn one.
Lap 2, Gragson started this race at the back and after skipping qualifying, he started it on fresh tires. He’s already up to 20th! He cuts through the grass to make it three wide and he picks up two more spots!
Lap 3, Allmendinger is on the bumper of Gibbs in the battle for the lead. He looks to the inside in turn five. They run side by side into turn six, Allmendinger takes the lead away.
Lap 6, Brandon Brown makes contact with Spencer Pumpelly. Pumpelly is off track in turn 14 and he’s stuck in the sand. The caution is out.
Ty Gibbs pits from 2nd and Kyle Busch joins him from 3rd. Allmendinger, Cindric and others stay out.
Green, Allmendinger clears Cindric in turn one. Kyle Busch spins as they run four wide off turn two. Busch cuts across the nose of Allgaier as they ran out of room. He slides through the grass, no caution.

Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 10 (11-20 / 45)
Allmendinger pits from the race lead. Cindric and Gragson move to the front row as they stay out.
Green flag on stage two, Cindric gets the jump but Hemric looks to his outside from row two into turn one. Hemric completes that pass and takes the lead!
Lap 13, big crash from Sam Mayer and the caution is out! He hit the wall after getting turned into turn 12. Mayer came across the nose of another car at corner entry to cause the spin.
Green, Hemric gets the jump and he leads into turn one as Allgaier takes over 2nd.
Battle for the the lead in turn 12. Allgaier outbrakes him and they run even into the corner. They remain side by side by Hemric gets loose in the final corner and Allgaier takes the race lead.
Lap 17, Allmendinger is slicing through the field. He’s up to 2nd and closing on Hemric.
3 to go in stage one, Allmendinger dives to the inside of Allgaier but can;t complete the pass. Kyle Busch is off track behind them! He gets back on track but falls from 3rd to 8th with no damage.
Allmendinger and Allgaier rubs doors in the battle for the lead. Allmendinger finally completes the pass and moves to the lead.

Stage 3 – Report
Laps: 25 (21-45 / 45)
Allmendinger pits from the race lead. Allgaier and Kyle Busch cycle to the front row.
Pit penalty: Allmendinger will go to the tail for too many crew members over the wall.
Allgaier clears Busch into turn one as Kyle busch holds 2nd. Cindric and Gibbs rub doors for 3rd, he crowds Gibbs into turn five and takes the spot.
Cindric closes on Allgaier. He takes the lead with ease.
Lap 27, Spencer Pumpelly has lost brakes at the end of the longest straight away in NASCAR. He spins backwards into turn one, skips across the sand and backs it into the tire barrier. The driver is alright and the caution is out.
Pit stops
The leaders hit the pit lane. Brandon Brown is off first with two tires. Cindric is off 2nd with four. Many stay out as Brown restarts 7th.
Pit Penalty: Hemric will go to the tail for crew over the wall too soon. Hemric returns to the pit lane to take off his new set of tires and save them for later.
Green, Brandon Jones and Harrison Burton run side by side through turn one. Jones clears him on the inside out of the corner.
15 to go, Cindric is on the bumper of Gragson in the battle for the lead. He dives to the inside and clears him with ease on newer tires.
13 to go, Jeb Burton and Brandon Brown tangle. They both spin, no caution.
11 to go
11 to go, Ty Gibbs is stopped in turn six with a transmission issue. The caution is out as he was running 2nd.
Most of the leaders hit the pit lane. Gragson has been handed the race lead. Cindric restarts 10th with fresh tires.
Green, Gragson leads with a push from Haley. Myatt Snider spins into turn two and he’s off in the grass. Allgaier, Cindric and Kyle Busch all collect damage as they check up. The caution is back out.
Allgaier and Cindric hit the pit lane to repair damage.
Green, Gragson leads as Allgaier slides Haley for 2nd in turn one. Kyle Busch climbs to 3rd in turn two.
6 to go, Busch works outside of Allmendinger in turn five. They rub fenders but Allmendinger holds him off.
Allmendinger has climbed to the bumper pf Gragson. He runs him wide off the corner and Allmendinger takes over the lead!
5 to go, Busch is on the bumper of Allgaier in the battle for the win. Busch pulls alongside and they rub fenders but Busch clears him. Kyle Busch leads at Road America! Multiple cars tangle but they all keep rolling, no caution.
2 to go, Busch leads by 2 seconds. Hemric and Annett battle for 2nd.
Kyle Busch wins at Road America! It’s his 100th career win!
