NASCAR practice results from the dirt track of Knoxville Raceway
Today, NASCAR makes it’s debut in Knoxville, Iowa. The half-mile dirt track is set to host an 80 minute practice session for the NASCAR Truck Series.

Brian Brown, Morgan Alexander, Parker Price-Miller Donny Schatz are making their NASCAR debut. However, each of them have loads of experience on the dirt at Knoxville.

75 minutes remaining, Parker Price-Miller is around. He lost it on his own at corner entry. He picks up light fender damage.
65 minutes remain, the track is already drying out on the inside lane. Ankrum leads the session so far but his recent laps are 5mph slower on average than his speed earlier in the session.
51 minutes remaining, red flag for a spin.
45 minutes remain, Norm Benning and Brett Moffitt have been side by side for several laps. Neither the top or bottom appear to have any advantage as both lanes are slicked off.

27 minutes remain, Carson Hocevar jumps to the top of the board as the track is taking rubber.
26 minutes remain, Jennifer Jo Cobb spins and the red flag is out.
25 minutes remain, Crafton jumps to the top of the board. Second later, Morgan Alexander goes for a spin.
20 minutes remain, Todd Gilliland enters too high, finds the loose dirt and then the guardrail. Minor damage for him.
15 minutes remain, the times continue to fall. Chandler Smith now sits at the top of the board.
12 minutes remain, Donny Schatz to the top of the board!
11 minutes left, Mogan Alexander is around for the second time. This time, the back of the track has found the guardrail and picked up moderate damage.
7 minutes remain, Jennifer Jo Cobb is around for the second time.
6 minutes left, Devon Rouse spins just as Sheldon Creed slams the wall. Heavy damage for Creed as he got in the loose dirt and the truck didn’t turn.
3 minutes remain, John Hunter Nemechek backs it into the fence. Rouse has also spun once again.
