A scary propane tank explosion was caught on video during a car show over the weekend
Texas Motor Speedway hosts more than racing events. Over the weekend, a the Fort Worth, Texas facility hosted the Lone Star Nationals car show on the infield.

A scary moment took place on Saturday afternoon as onlookers watched a fire that turned into an explosion. A propane tank erupted in a plume.
Safety workers were already on the scene during the explosion in the video below.
The track has stated that the explosion was caused by a vendor’s propane tank exploding near a concession stand.
No injuries were reported.
Crews were able to extinguish the flames. There was minor damage to the speedway building next to the incident.
The Goodguys car show resumed on Sunday.
NASCAR is set to return to the track on October 18th, 2021. The race will be the first race in the round of 8 for the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
