Tonight, the Xtreme DIRTcar Series makes it’s return for the 2021-22 season. The 1/2-mile dirt track of Lancaster Motor Speedway is set to host the dirt late model divsion.

Green flag, Hamma and Bailes run even into turn one! Bailes knocks the cushion and leads off turn two.
Lap 2, the top 5 all form single file around the top. The track is heavy tonight.
Lap 4, Watkins closes to the bumper of Hamm in the battle for 2nd. As he does, Watkins bobbles in turn three and loses three car lengths.
Lap 8, Bailes has caught the tail of the field. Bailes leads by nearly 2 seconds.
Lap 10, the caution is out as a car is stalled.
Green, Bailes leads into turn one. Watkins slides Hamm for 2nd behind him.
Lap 11, Dustin Mitchell spins, caution.
Green, Bailes leads into turn one. Watkins holds 2nd off turn two.
Lap 13, Chris Ferguson slides Michael Maresca for 4th into turn three.
Lap 18, Bailes has caught the tail of the field. Watkins is closing.
Lap 25, Watkins has closed to within a car length of Bailes. Watkins looks to the inside in turn one but Bailes holds him off via the outside lane.
15 to go, Bailes leads Watkins by five car lengths. Bailes has clear track ahead, for now.
9 to go, Bailes is back in lap traffic. Watkins trails by 10 car lengths.
5 to go, Bailes leads by 1 second. Benji Hicks slows and the caution is out.
Green, Bailes leads by four car lengths into turn one. Watkins runs wide into the corner, Hamm looks inside by Watkins holds him off.
