NASCAR driver Joey Logano comments on the birth of his daughter
On Sunday, NASCAR visited Los Angeles, California. The Busch Light Clash opened the 2022 racing season with an exhibition event at the LA Coliseum.

In practice, Logano struggled with his machine. The crew went to work and he was able to qualify with a heat race pole despite the car “feeling awful” according to Logano after his qualifying run.
The race was the first on a 1/4-mile track in several decades. Fans were thrilled with the show and 31-year-old Joey Logano battled with Kyle Busch and drove to victory lane, claiming the race win. The race purse was set at nearly $2 million.

As Logano stood in victory lane, he was also on baby watch.

“This is big! I’m having a baby, well, my wife’s having a baby tomorrow,” Logano stated from victory lane.
“Our third one. So, big weekend for us,” the crowd cheered at the news.
“We were slow, we were 28th or so on the board yesterday. Made some changes, worked with our teammates. Ryan Blaney, I owe a lot to him.”
“I wanna say, ‘Hey’ to Hudson, Jameson and my wife Brittany. This is cool. I’m heading home after this.”
“I told her, ‘If you’re having the baby I’m just running right off the track.’ So, I don’t think it’s happening right now.”
“This is special to get the first Next Gen win, the first win in the Coliseum. It’s a special one.”
Joey Logano welcomes new daughter
Now, two days after the race win, Brittany and Joey Logano have brought a daughter into the family.
The couple already have two sons. Hudson Joseph Logano is age 4 and Jameson Logano was born in 2022. Now, they’ll welcomed another little one into the world their first daughter
“Pretty awesome 36 hours! Sunday will never compare to today though,” Joey Logano stated via twitter.
“Welcome to the world Emilia Love Logano! She’s already stole our hearts.”
Logano added, “Mom and baby were rockstars.”
The NASCAR schedule is set to resume next week. Drivers are set to roll into Daytona Beach, Florida for the biggest race of the season, the famed Daytona 500.
