Phoenix Raceway penalty report brings three suspensions
Last weekend, NASCAR returned to Phoenix Raceway. The 1-mile track hosted the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series.

In stage 1 of the Cup race, Corey LaJoie lost a wheel. The nut itself came off and LaJoie slammed the outside wall shortly after. The loss of the wheel has brought three four-race suspensions to the Spire Motorsports team.
Additionally, two NASCAR Xfinity Series teams have been fined.

Driver: No. 7 Corey LaJoie
Violation Date: March 13, 2022
Sections: (10.5.2.6) Loss or separation of an improperly installed tire/wheel from the vehicle with the note: Loss of tire/wheel during the event.
Penalty: Crew chief Ryan Sparks and crew members Blaine Anderson (front changer) along with Allen Hollman (jack) are suspended for the next four races.
