NASCAR hauler crashes while leaving Atlanta Motor Speedway (Video)

Reaume Brothers Racing fields two machines in the NASCAR Truck Series. The No. 43 was driven by Thad Moffitt and the No. 33 was driven by Chris Hacker.

Hacker finished 17th in the race. Moffitt finished with a DNF after suffered a mechanical issue while running inside the top 20.

After the race, things went south for the team. The truck hauler was involved in a crash exiting the speedway.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Certain tunnels at the track aren’t made for haulers, only much smaller vehicles. Unfortunately, the driver of the Reaume Brothers Racing hauler was unaware.

The top of the truck was heavily damaged as it went through the tunnel under the track. Additionally, the air conditioner on top of the hauler was ripped clean off.

The team still intends to race next week at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The team shop is based out of Mooresville, NC.

This incident took place during the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. TV coverage of the hauler, shortly after the incident went live on the air.

The team also fields a NASCAR Xfinity Series driven by Loris Hezemans.
